Little Alchemy 2 is the sequel to the popular crafting game in which you have to mix elements to create new elements.
This game is all about science. Just like the first part, you start with four elements, which are air, earth, fire, and water. Just drag an element from the right side to the board, then drag and mix it with other elements to create a new one. When you create a new element, it will then be added to the element list on the right side. Its recipe will also show up in the encyclopedia so you can track your progress.
However, not all combinations you make can produce a new element. You have to think logically. Otherwise, try random combinations until you can create something new.

If you think the board is messy, you can click on the Clean up button in the upper left corner to clear it.
